Totally late again. I weighed in Sunday at 158.6, up 1.4 from last week. That’s good, considering all the crappy (but delicious) food I indulged in.
I’m thankful for tossing out the rest of the leftovers and shipping off the cookies with Rob to work. Now all that food can stop staring at me and guilting me into not wasting it.
On a related note, I can tell how much junk I ate just based off how I feel. My stomach has been in knots and I’ve just felt sluggish pretty much since Eating Fest 2007 began on Christmas Eve.
I love the holidays, but I sure am glad they only come once a year.
157.2! That makes for a three-pound loss this week, which is a great surprise, considering my week began with dinner at Ruby Tuesday. I did my best to choose wisely, but restaurants always seem to bite me in the ass.
Not this week, though.
I confess to not exercising a lick this entire week. I’ve been busy, busy, busy getting ready to host Christmas Eve at our house and also hosting guests for the week (my parents and some friends). But I have made it a point to stay close to my daily-points range each day. I belive the only day I went over by more than one or two was Ruby Tuesday Day.
I think I’m about three or four pounds away from my wedding weight, which is pretty exciting. I’d like to get there by the new year, but seeing as that is next week, and Christmas Eve and Christmas stand in my way, I’m not holding my breath.
My eating plans for the holiday? Well, the two-day holiday? Enjoy myself. I’m planning to eat well for breakfast and lunch and to eat as light in points as I can for those two (four?) meals so I can enjoy the dinner foods. As for the dinner foods, I’m just going to be smart about the quantity of good food I enjoy. I’m going for quality, not quantity.
That’s the plan, at least.
Too much sugar. Shouldn’t lick fingers while baking/making sweets so much. Sixty ounces of water hasn’t helped. Tongue feels nasty.
Blech.

In case you didn’t notice my Flickr feed, I’ve gone from my natural medium blonde to brown with highlights.
No, I don’t feel any smarter.
I know, I’m a day late. What do you want from me?
It could be worse. I’m up a pound from last week, putting me back below the 5-pound loss.
Last week was full bad-food days, thanks to a work Christmas luncheon and a Christmas party. I’m just happy I walked/ran four days last week, otherwise I’d be much worse off.
Aside from the work lunch and the Christmas party, I actually did really well with points.
Looking ahead, my challenge for this week is working from home and having a stocked kitchen feet away tempting me when I feel hungry. Or think I’m hungry.
And then there’s Christmas Eve and Christmas, which will be full of good food. I’ll admit I’m not going to hold back that much because it’s Christmas for crying out loud, but I do hope to counteract whatever bad I do those days by sticking to my daily points the rest of the week and putting in some time at the gym.
Wish me luck!
