Maybe I will just count some of my activity points instead of all of them. It’s now 9, and I’m not really hungry. I mean, I can *always* eat, but that’s not really the point of what I’m doing, now is it? I’ll just mentally un-count two points to make it to my daily target.

For the record, I used the elliptical first thing this morning before work. I had said I was going to do the Shred DVD, but I just didn’t feel like it when I got home. I’m not that active yet, and the thought of doing that (difficult!) shred video THEN mowing the lawn made me tired just thinking about it. And if we’re being honest, I probably wouldn’t have mowed the lawn afterward, then it’d continue to look atrocious. So I did my neighborhood a favor and skipped the DVD. Sue me.

I noticed while washing my face before bed last night that the skin near my left temple felt a little bumpy. I didn’t think much of it, though, because it was just in that one spot.

This morning? Nearly my whole face is covered in little bumps. Thankfully, you can only really see them if the light is hitting my face just right, you’re looking from just the right angle AND you’re really concentrating on my face.

I don’t anticipate anyone really studying my face that well.

My skin has broken out a few times like this before, but I’ve never been able to figure out why. Just like every other time, I haven’t used any new lotions or cleansers, haven’t opened a new, potentially tainted bottle of my regular stuff, haven’t eaten anything out of the ordinary … basically, I’m stumped.

I think it’s some sort of allergic reaction to something because popping a couple Benadryl tablets usually clears it up pretty fast. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab a couple before I left for work this morning.

Oh, well. Just don’t look too closely at me.

I logged 20 minutes on the elliptical this morning. Yay! Plus I plan on doing the 30-Day Shred video tonight after and mowing the lawn once it cools off some, so my day is full of active plans.

I ran out of Greek yogurt yesterday but forgot to stop at Trader Joe’s for more on my drive home because I was too busy cursing the traffic. I’m paying for my forgetfulness this morning.

I opted for stovetop oatmeal made with a half a cup of milk for my breakfast this morning since everyone talks about how filling oatmeal is.

Well, folks. It’s 10:30, and my stomach is already letting me know it would like a refill, thankyouverymuch. Lucky for me, I didn’t pack my lunch today because co-workers have been harassing me to go out to lunch with them. I know if I had food sitting next to me, I’d be tempted to inhale it this early, and then I’d be left with more hunger and no food mid afternoon, which would either make me raid the vending machine (never good) or franticly eat whatever I could find the second I walk in the house.

For the record, the Greek yogurt is working famously for me. My concoction is quite delicious, and I think I could even go without the cereal added in. I didn’t have hunger issues the two days I had yogurt for breakfast, so I think I’ve found another winning breakfast, this time less “expensive.”
