That just happened.

Rob poked his head in the doorway while I was pumping before bed tonight and asked if he could show me something.

Um, I’m busy, dude.

He promised it was worth the break, so I hung up my flanges, threw on a hoodie and followed him outside, where he told me to be quiet.

Holy balls, there was an owl in our neighbor’s front yard. It sat, perched, and watched us watching it. I grabbed my camera and risked my eyeballs being gouged out because, DUDE.

That just happened.

(It’s weird to see a wild owl so up close and personal, right? Or do I live under an owl-free rock?)
