10 months
For some reason, 10 months seems far older than 9 months. Double digits, yo!

Toby loves: Squealing and laughing; eating Cheerios, fruits and veggies; climbing over pillows, legs and other mountainous objects; electronics; standing; looking for people watching him in the mirror; being tickled
Toby hates: Sisters who touch him when he doesn’t want to be touched; eating meat; staying still for a diaper change
Eleanor loves: Squealing and laughing; food; standing and walking with help; exploring; making noise with her hands; finding new things to touch; being tickled; whatever toy her sister or brother has
Eleanor hates: Being left while other babies are transported from room to room; waiting for food; staying still for diaper changes
Callista loves: Squealing; animals; the camera; food; blowing raspberries; jumping; breaking out of Baby Jail; shoes; people-watching; making people smile; being praised
Callista hates: Not being able to do what she wants when she wants to do it; being told, “No.”
They’re all on pretty much the same page developmentally speaking, which is why they graduate from the developmentalist last week after scoring at an average 9-month-old level. They can feed themselves, stand, sit, walk with help, they’re learning to do more with their hands (E is practically waving), they all officially crawl on hands and knees, and they love to try to mimic sounds and movements.
Not too shabby for babies born three months premature, right? You might call them precocious. I call us proud.
