Here’s the sign I made explaining the NICU-recommended guidelines for visitors at home. I know I joked about making a hard-ass, mama-bear sign that was all, “Grrrr! Follow the rules, or I’ll punch your face!” but I just don’t have it in me to joke about the rules. I don’t want anyone to think we’re taking these guidelines light-heartedly.

Because we aren’t.

    Love it.

Perfect! You’ve given your little ones a voice – people aren’t doing it for you (the parents) they are doing it because PB&J asked them to. Filing this in my “You never know how it’ll be useful” folder of bookmarks :)

I love this! And I failed completely at this list yesterday :(, except the sickness part.

What a brilliant idea. I’m tempted to use almost all the same guidelines with my newborn but-never-in-the-NICU baby just because oh my GOD why can’t anyone ever remember to wash their hands before touching her when they visit?! It is flu season!

You’re nice to even allow visitors!

I agree – I am still chastised for trying to protect my little one from germs when she was very, very young. I let it roll off me like duck off a water because I know I did the right thing.

Very smart!! We had someone in our neighborhood who had triplets and they had a big rules sign on their front door. You need to do that, it’s important.

So glad everyone is home and doing well xo

  10. Perfect, lady. Just perfect! So happy that the babies are home.

  11. Erin says:

Go, girl!! I didn’t have a preemie, but I STILL required everyone to sanitize and wash hands when entering the house and prior to touching my son. I also asked people to change shirts if they were smokers. Can’t blame you one bit! Glad y’all are doing so well!!

  12. Emily says:

I love it. You go, girl.

  13. Alena says:

It looks like the perfect reminder for people to use common sense so everyone can love on those triplets!!

  14. Laura says:

Absolutely perfect. OMG. I can’t wait to snuggle them. They are so freaking adorable.

  15. Rachel says:

Perfect! Love it! They are so stinking adorable! So excited that they are finally home and that you can finally begin being a ‘normal’ family of 5… as ‘normal’ as having awesome triplets can be!

  16. Bethany says:

    Good job, Mama Bear!

  17. Melissa says:

    Totally perfect. Nice work!

  18. Well said! Everything with these at home babies has me teary!

  19. Mandy says:

Seriously, you need to print copies of these for NICU parents to hand out! Most of these are rules even non preemie visitors should (and don’t) follow.

    Awesome job, momma.
