I’m not normally a personal-horn-tooter, and I’m less of an ask-for-help type, but I’m too stoked about possibly being a finalist to stay quiet and just hope my readers notice the new additions to my sidebar.
What the Blog? is a finalist in two categories of The Bump’s 2nd Mommy Blog Awards! I’m a finalist for Best Fertility Blog and Best Multiples Blog.
The two categories are a pretty meaningful testimony to the last year in our house. I first started to share our experiences trying to conceive late October of last year. This blog has gone through a lot since then – from fertility testing to conception to loss to conception to another loss and all the heartache and victories in between.
An ultrasound in June forever changed my world, and the appearance of PB&J moved us into the world of multiples.
I haven’t even tipped the iceberg when it comes to blogging about multiples. Being pregnant with PB&J has been an experience already, but something tells me things will get a lot more interesting once they’re outside babies.
And despite no longer being an active participant in the world of trying to conceive, it’s a subject that is near and dear to my heart. I’ll always wear my bracelet representing Infertility’s Common Thread, and I’ll always grab onto any opportunity I have to tell the world how important it is to be educated in the fertility game.

I want you to beat me out of that iPad.
I just stumbled on your blog and read a few entries back about your pre-term labor scare. I am the Mom of a 24 weeker and was on mag sulfate with both of my kids to stop pre-term labor. What a HORRIBLE drug! I hardly remember a thing about the time I was on it because I was so out of it. It obviously didn’t work the first time, but it did with my daughter the second time around.
Giving birth to a premature baby is SCARY and I underestimated how bad my “symptoms” were when I started early labor. I had never been pregnant or in labor before so I thought “mild cramping” was nothing. Anyway, I’m not here to scare you just to say you are doing a great job and do NOT get out of that bed unless you have to go the bathroom.
I hope you hang on until those babies are fully baked!

So, I started out over at The Bump because one of the blogs I frequent was a finalist in a completely unrelated category to yours. So I started looking through the other categories and realized I didn’t know many of the blogs out there…So, I came over to check yours out. I have now been here for like an hour reading through your pregnancy journey.
Your Ninja Baby is certainly going to give you plenty to do once she sneaks out of there! Congratulations on your pregnancy…stay strong while they try to break out early and keep on blogging! I am loving this blog!
