It isn’t a done deal yet, but my parents signed a purchase agreement on a BRAND NEW house in our neighborhood. The purchase is contingent on the sale of their home in NE Ohio, on which they’re close to inking a deal.
Should everything go as planned, they’ll live 1/3 mile away from us – definitely close enough to mosey over for a visit with the stroller(s).
I’m an only child, so I hold the real estate gold on the grandkids market. Pretty sweet, right? It’ll be awesome to have them around to help, but more than that, it’ll be awesome to live close to my parents again. It’s been a long six years of not-enough visits, and I miss them!

That is {the second most} awesome news ever! You are gonna need the help and won’t have to go far to get it. In fact, I am imagining a phone call going something like this . . .
“Mom, please come over and get baby A because she won’t stop crying! But don’t take baby B or C because they are being quiet right now.”

The babes will get to be super close to their grandparents and be spoiled rotten (although I’m sure that would have happened anyway). so awesome!

That is so awesome!! We are 15 minutes from both sets of parents and it was an absolute God send when I had Madison…
also, grandparents make the BEST babysitters.
Oh, that will be so fun! I miss living close to my parents. We used to go to their house for dinner at least once a week, and now we’re lucky if we see them once a month. You will definitely appreciate the help!
I’m jealous. I miss my family so much. It sucks they are 2000 miles and a plane ride away. It’s my fault I guess…I moved away from them.

Lucky you! I’d love to be able to stroller over to my moms house. I used to think being an only child sucked but when you put it that way I guess I do hold the gold on the grandkids market… pretty sweet!
