yeah enjoy movies now…
I went a week or so ago, with my daughter, husband, and mom to see it. It was AWESOME… what I saw! Keevs (my 8 month old) has been with us to several movies, and always does fine. She either sits on my lap, nurses, or I walk around the back of the movie with her (usually strapped to me in my Beco or my woven wrap). She usually never makes a peep, and goes straight down for a nap.
Yeah. Not so much with Eclipse. She had a bellyache (as we discovered on the way home where there was a “HOLY SHIZ!!! HOW DOES THAT MUCH STUFF COME OUT OF SUCH A LITTLE GIRL” diaper, and she didn’t want to be in the dark room. I think I probably saw 2/3rds of the movie. I totally missed the fight scene though.
So, I’m rather jealous you saw it 3 times!!
It’s not impossible to take a little one to the theater (although 3 may be challenging!). I’ve heard a lot of moms take the little ones to a “crying” showing… it’s usually in the afternoon, the lights aren’t as low, and it’s usually open to Moms with little ones, so they don’t bother other people. We don’t have any around us (boo!), but I literally live in the back of nowhere! Lol!
