Whoever says the Internet is full of nothing but creepy predators has never visited MY Internet.

MY Internet is full of loving, caring people that can become phenomenal friends you never would have met if it weren’t for ye olde world wide web.

Exhibit A for today is Alena, who writes Charmingly Chandler:

Not only is this girl hilarious, but she’s a super sweet girl to call your friend, too. We met through Twitter and were lucky enough to meet face-to-face when Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond (and Alena!) came to Charlotte in May.

Alena’s been an amazing support in our short friendship, and she extended that support with a surprise congratulatory gift today, a coin/charm stamped with three wee hearts that represent PB&J. Alena said she’s had similar coins to carry around as tokens to touch during times of stress and worry and wanted to gift me with something that might help calm my own fears during this pregnancy.

Didn’t I tell you guys my friends and family are doing an amazing job of helping us out already?

Thank you, Alena!

p.s. Alena purchased the coin from Anna Ourth Jewelry. There are a lot of pretty things in the shop, so check it out!
