I’m no master gardener, but something tells me this plant was mislabeled. Those don’t look like green bell peppers to me. The problem is I’m a total weenie about hot food. I guess Rob – with tastebuds of steel – will be testing these to see what kind they are. Another problem? How the crap do I know when these mystery peppers are ready?

Also? Some little asshole(s) is snacking on my leaves. Jerk.

I’ve had that happen … I planted seeds for banana peppers and they turned out to be green peppers! Someone at the seed-sorting department was sleeping on the job!! But, great shot!

Ooo, we had those peppers come up last year! No idea what they were supposed to be, but they tasted like a slightly spicier green pepper. They were tasty!

They could still be a green pepper but sort of long and pointy. Once you see a little red on them you’ll know that they are ready. All green peppers will eventually turn red if left on vine.

    They look like jalapenos.

That’s what our “green peppers” look like too!
