I sometimes forget many readers are people I know completely away from the Internet – friends, family, etc.
Why? BECAUSE YOU PEOPLE NEVER LEAVE ME COMMENTS!
Seriously, though. Many of my IRL folks (that’s In Real Life, Mom) read this blog, and the only way I know is when they drop a tidbit only found on the blog into a conversation (which totally throws me for a loop) or, send me a really sweet card cheering me on and telling me about how they enjoy what I write.
Like my good friend Andi, who sent this cute card chock FULL of handwritten cheerleading and motivation.
I write for myself, but I also write because there are so few people I have the pleasure of speaking with on a regular basis. Having this blog helps me stay connected with the giant spokes my life has sprouted through the years.
Andi, thank you so much for the card. You have an e-mail coming your way shortly.
Other people who’ve known me before this blog started? Say hello, would ya? 😀

So funny – the same thing will happen to me with my IRL family and friends. I’ll tell as story and they’ll be all like “Oh yeah, I saw that on your blog.” It does throw you, even though it shouldn’t bc you’re putting it out there! It’s nice to know you’re being read though!
Ok, ok. Since you ask, I guess I should confess that I totally stalk your blog! Its the only way these days to get my Jenny-fix.
Oh, I just KNEW more people were reading. Hi, Emmy!
Hi girlie- I’m your secret prayer cheerleader for a Baby M!
So funny! I have the exact same thing happen to me. I always think its funny when I found out some many IRLers read my blog cause only a few of them ever comment!
Hello Jenny. I check your blog from time to time. I’m not really up to date on how all of this works. But I wanted to say hi. Talk to you soon!! Tell Rob hello too.

Ok, so I guess you could say that I’m those people who knew you before you started your blog! Your Mother’s Day entry really got me choked up. It got me thinking that you must have been about Sofia’s age in your picture with your mom. I’m looking forward to the day that you get to be a mom!
P.S. I love the new cabinets
Yay! Two more cousin comments!
Anne – those photos were taken around my first birthday – maybe even on my first birthday – so I was a bit younger than Miss Sofia. The cake was for some cake-smash fun with my mom there – I’m guessing because she wasn’t well enough to leave the hospital for the party at home. Pretty heartbreaking, isn’t it?
