Pizza dough: Round 3
I won Round 1. The dough won Round 2 (I attempted and failed miserably last night).
I’m currently in the middle of Round 3. So far, so good.
Round 2 resulted in super sticky dough. I realize now I should have added more flour while my mixer was kneading the dough, but by the time I realized that it was abnormally sticky (when I punched down the risen dough), it was too late. I tried to roll it out anyhow, but I couldn’t lift it off the counter without tearing the dough, and that was after I heavily floured the counter and the top of the dough.
So it went in the garbage.
But I’m not giving up without a fight, which is why I’m attempting the dough for the second night in a row. That and I have a severe craving for pizza.
