Tobias, born at 9:11 a.m. – 2 lbs. 8.5 oz., 14.37″ long (Baby B in utero)

Eleanor, born at 9:12 a.m. on Nov. 22 – 2 lbs. 5 oz., 15″ long (Baby A in utero)

Callista, born at 9:13 a.m. on Nov. 22 – 2 lbs. 7 oz, 15″ long (Baby C – ninja baby! – in utero)

***

PB&J were born when I was 28 weeks, 1 day.

Toby is on a ventilator but was down to 65 percent oxygen the last time Rob visited.

Eleanor and Callista are only on CPAPs for some extra breathing help.

You can call me Bessie, because my first attempt at pumping produced 19 mL of milk. Seeing as they’ll start the babies on just part of 1 mL, I already have a stock saved up!

Your thoughts, prayers and well wishes are beyond appreciated. We’re all doing well, but we have a long, long road ahead of us. Continued prayers would be awesome!

(oh, me? I’m doing pretty well. I’m sore but not in much pain. My c-section went amazingly well – no blood transfusion necessary. I hear they’re going to try to get my up on my feet tonight. Owie! But I’ll do it. I’m a champ, just like my three gorgeous babies.)

(oh, Rob? He can’t stop grinning and staring at his bracelets that claim the babies as his. He’s been to see them several times. To say he is a proud papa is the understatement of the century.)

If you’re feeling clicky, mosey on over to the sidebar and vote for What the Blog? for best overall in The Bump’s 2nd Mommy Blog Awards. An iPad would be pretty sweet about now, right?

  37. They’re huge!!!! (My 27 weeker looked like a skinned rabbit, yours look like babies) Tobias looks amazing, I only knew it was him because of the vent, he looks really really well, and I hope he kicks his vent habit soon, I am sure he will.

They look amazing, you did a great job taking care of them, and now they are in good hands!

Take care of yourself, and eat lots of chocolate, its good for the milk, a neonatologist told me that, so it must be true!

  41. Kristen says:

CONGRATULATIONS! The triplets are beautiful and I love their names! You are a very strong mama; remember that during however long it is you have to deal with the NICU. I was a NICU mom for just 1 week, and it was probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever gone through. But it made my husband and I so much tougher and stronger and, I think, better parents. I know it will do the same for you and Rob! Especially since you’ll be experiencing it times 3! You can do it. Thoughts and prayers are with you!! :)

  42. Susan says:

Congratulations!!! What a beautiful miracle they are. Just stunning.

  43. Lindsey says:

    They are just adorable!!!!

  45. Adrienne says:

Oh, Jen, I’m absolutely over the moon for you and Rob! Eleanor, Tobias, and Callista are fabulous, wonderful, gorgeous, and amazing!

You, my dear, are the baddest of bad asses. Truly. Obviously your babies are bad asses too, but how could they not be, with parents like the two of you?

Many, many congratulations! I’m sending huge hopes and prayers for the coming weeks – may they be smooth, predictable, and (medically speaking), nothing but boring and routine.

  46. Alexis says:

Congratulations. They are beautiful little nuggets.

  47. Jess says:

Congratulations on your new, sweet little bundles :)

  48. Julie says:

Congratulations on your three sweet babies! They’re beautiful! Best wishes for a quick recovery, and many prayers for the babies to continue to grow and thrive. Such a blessing!

My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you and PB&J as you heal, they grow, and you enjoy your life together!

    Congrats!!
